Additional Description on External Handwheel for KND-K100M4 System

I.      Parameter Selection

1.   System handwheel mode active (can display “handwheel mode”).
2.   Set EHPG=1 for system parameter 199, the external handwheel function is active.
3.   When EHOF=1 is set for system parameter 199, the panel handwheel mode is also active.
When EHOF=0 is set for system parameter 199, if external handwheel is selected, the panel handwheel mode is inactive. The former mode is shown as “****”. Thereby it is possible to prevent movement of panel-selected axis due to mis rotation of handwheel when external handwheel selection is off.

When input signal HE=1, the system selects external handwheel (panel mode is inactive). Then the following signals are active.
Increment selection
*100,*10
       0          0          0.001mm.
            0          1          0.01mm.
            1          0          0.1mm.

 
Axis selection signal:
       HX=1  X axis selected.
       HY=1  Y axis selected.
       HZ=1  Z axis selected.
       H4=1  4th axis selected.
